Coffee Time
It has been a whirlwind for TTA as much has happened in 2022. We moved from teaching in a classroom in the local school, to now having the use of our own property. As such, this affords us with many more opportunities as to what we do and the direction our organisation takes. In the short term, we are hoping that by setting up a small occasional drop-in café that this will enable people to feel that there is a space that people can use to relax, chat and show care and concern for others.
The social space that we have is open to everyone and in particular we would appeal to residents within Harryville, and the greater Ballymena area to pay us a visit. We may not serve the best tea/coffee in the town, but we do want to be one of the friendliest.
We will be leafleting the area, so if one happens to drop through your letterbox, see it as a personal invitation. Even better, take the leaflet with you to a friends house and invite them too. The Winter can be a challenging time and with increased fuel costs and the average household bill much higher than expected, don't let the Winter blues get to you. A problem shared can often take a load off our shoulders, but if we can signpost you to others who might be able to help you, it will only cost you the price of a coffee, which is by-the-way, free!
